How to care for your board

General use of your board:

  • NEVER put your board in the dishwasher or submerge or ‘soak’ a board in water.
  • Use lukewarm water and mild soap to clean

Avoid acidic foods as they will prematurely strip away the finish.

If your board becomes dry or you want to refinish it, we recommend a food-safe blend of wax and oil. There are many available on the market. We also sell our own blend.

Refinishing Directions

  1. Clean the board first with mild soap and hot water
  2. Reapply food-safe oil and wax finish
  3. Wait about 5 minutes
  4. Repeat if desired
  5. Wipe away any excess finish
